London, Hong Kong to See Singapore Airlines’ A380s

Singapore Airlines announced London (LHR) and Hong Kong (HKG) will be the next destinations served by its newest Airbus A380 aircraft, featuring the airline’s new cabin product.

Starting Feb. 16, the aircraft will operate as SQ322 (Singapore (SIN)–London) on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday; Feb. 17–April 5, it will operate as SQ305 (London–Singapore); and from April 7 the aircraft will operate as SQ317 (London–Singapore) on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

Feb. 18–April 6, the new A380s will deploy on flights to Hong Kong, operating Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday as SQ860 (Singapore–Hong Kong) and SQ863 (Hong Kong–Singapore); and, from April 8, the aircraft are scheduled to operate Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday as SQ856 (Singapore–Hong Kong) and SQ861 (Hong Kong–Singapore).

The new cabin products will initially be fitted to the five new A380s, following which retrofit work will commence on 14 aircraft already in service. The new products seat up to 471 customers in four classes: six in suites, 78 in business class, 44 in premium economy and 343 in economy.
