Colombia’s leading airline, Avianca, and Latin America’s leading carrier, TACA, have joined forces. Offering service to more than 100 destinations, Latin America’s leading airline group delivers first-rate service, world-class products and unprecedented network connections.

From its hubs in Latin America — Bogota, El Salvador, Lima and San Jose, Costa Rica — AviancaTaca passengers can choose from a number of convenient flight options. Since the airlines joined forces, AviancaTaca added new routes and increased frequencies. Flights increased from Bogota to points throughout Colombia, as well cities in South America, including Santiago and São Paulo. New routes were inaugurated between Lima and Miami, El Salvador and Chicago, Guatemala and Orlando, Tegucigalpa and Miami, Lima and Brasilia, Lima and Porto Alegre, Lima and Antofagasta and Bogota and San Jose. Flights to more than 25 cities, including 11 gateways from North America (Los Angeles, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Washington, Orlando, Houston, Toronto), are also available.

LifeMiles, the official frequent flyer program for AviancaTaca, is the largest in Latin America, outside of Brazil. At 4 million members, the program is continually expanding, allowing members to redeem the miles for products and services.

Another exciting development for AviancaTaca is its unanimous acceptance into Star Alliance, the leading global airline network in terms of daily flights, destinations served and number of member airlines. Following its full integration into the alliance, AviancaTaca will be able to offer its passengers a complete roster of routes, destinations and services throughout the Star Alliance’s 27-member network.
