Hotel owners encourage guests to engage with the experience to ensure a memorable stay, while hotel guests look to create connections with people in unfamiliar settings. The new app, InHotel, available now, provides a solution for both the properties and the people visiting them.
The InHotel app is a universal messaging platform that allows guests to log into different hotels with the app, create a profile and interact with other guests. Each guest profile includes generic information, a photo and the reason for traveling, allowing fellow business travelers to connect. The same profile can be used at different hotels, based on where guests are currently visiting.
The app creates a closed network, guaranteeing the identity of each profile for the length of the stay. Hotels provide a code and a password. Guests can send private messages or communicate with the community.
Available for iOS, Windows and through the Apple store, the app is free for hotel guests. Hotels pay a one-year license cost of $100 per month with a two-month free trial period. Hotels and resorts, including 4- and 5-star accommodations, are available on the app.
