Anantara Hotels & Resorts debuts in India with Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur, offering guests a window into a bygone era when some of India’s oldest dynasties ruled Rajasthan and Jaipur.

Spanning 150 guestrooms and suites, the new Anantara connects guests to the past through hand-carved woodwork, intricate tikri glasswork and golden leafing. Accommodations range from premier and deluxe rooms to the Jewel Bagh one-bedroom suite, Anantara one-bedroom terrace suite and presidential suite.

Executive Chef Sunil Jajoria’s skills are on display at Sheesh Mahal, a restaurant adorned with mirror mosaics and serving dishes crafted with traditional Rajasthani techniques. This space also offers cocktails such as Jewel of Jaipur (a whisky sour twist) and Pink City Punch (guava lemonade with tequila). Other dining venues found on site include all-day dining Amrit Mahal, serving casual meals indoors and outside via an international buffet and Indian à la carte menu; Rajputana Chowk, which serves specialty coffee, handpicked teas and refreshing lemonades; and Designer Dining by Anantara, indulging guests in four courses prepared by a private chef and served by a butler.
