OM System Tough TG-7
OM System might sound like a new arrival in the camera space, but it’s just the new name for industry stalwart Olympus. Continuing the theme of continuity, TG-7 updates the much-loved TG-6 underwater camera. Capable of descending as far as 50 feet below the waves, TG-7 features three preset modes to help beginners take stunning photos and video at different depths, as light behaves differently the deeper you go. Add on the PT-059 underwater case, and the camera will be safe down to 147 feet and you can also add optional lenses such as FCON-T02, for circular images, and FCON-T01, a tele converter for longer shots. $500.

Boost Fin
Available for both surfboards and paddleboards, this electric fin adds some extra thrust to help you catch more waves and stay
out on the water longer. It’s easy to install, features a remote control to adjust the speed, and is built to withstand shocks in rough seas. Weighing just 2.7 pounds, you’ll barely know it’s there until you turn it on. It also has a handy shut-off button so you can stop your board from sailing away from you if you take a tumble, and the removable safety guard will keep your hair, fingers or anything else from getting tangled up. $499.

Safe down to 330 feet, the Gladius Mini provides a fun way to explore the depths, beaming back 4-K images. It is also compatible with a grabber claw and other accessories, with a patented five-thruster anti-stuck motor designed to deal with whatever the ocean can throw at it. Equally useful for safety inspections, the drone has a battery life of four hours and can share images to three devices at once. $1,139.
