Already a trailblazer in voyages along Norway’s spectacular coast, Hurtigruten once again raises the bar on the sailing experience with the introduction of three new Limited Collection itineraries. Offered between April 2027 and May 2028 aboard MS Trollfjord, these new voyages are part of the line’s all-inclusive Signature concept, providing guests with more time to explore remote ports and new destinations such as Rosendal; Skjolden; and Eidfjord, near Bergen.
“As we continuously see a tremendous growth to Norway and growing interest in this incredible destination, Hurtigruten is creating more exciting opportunities for North Americans to experience this beautiful country,” said Carly Biggart, head, Hurtigruten Americas. “For the first time ever, we will offer both a fjord-only itinerary and one that remains solely above the Arctic Circle, one of the most stunningly beautiful parts of Norway. With Copenhagen as a new port for the Arctic Line, it will be even easier to combine a cruise with one of Europe’s most appealing cities. These in addition to our recently launched tours truly emphasizes Hurtigruten’s role as the most authentic and immersive travel leader on Norway.”
These new journeys include The Inner Fjords Explorer, Hurtigruten’s first fjord-only sailing. This deeply immersive, eight-day voyage is offered during spring and autumn, and includes the western fjords of Lysefjord, Hardangerfjord, Sognefjord and Nordfjord, with the captain determining daily details. Prices begin at $2,254 per person.
Also new, The Arctic Circle Explorer is an eight-day, round-trip winter voyage from Tromsø that takes in Lofoten, Alta and Honningsvåg. There’s even an optional expedition to visit the North Cape, the northernmost point of mainland Europe, and an overnight stay in Alta. This trip is also a great option for Northern Lights enthusiasts, with ideal conditions, including minimal light pollution, along the route. Prices begin at $2,829 per person.
The 12-day northbound or 11-day southbound The Arctic Line sailing is a winter expedition between Copenhagen and Tromsø. Following Norway’s coast, guests will have opportunities to visit Lofoten and the North Cape, with overnight stays in Alta and Tromsø. Because up to seven days are spent traversing the waters beneath the auroral oval, Northern Lights-viewing opportunities abound. Prices begin at $3,379 per person.
“No one knows the Norwegian coastline like Hurtigruten,” said Hedda Felin, CEO, Hurtigruten. “These new voyages are rooted in generations of local knowledge, allowing our captains to adapt each journey to the conditions of the day — revealing Norway at its most spectacular. They are voyages shaped by nature, guided by expertise, and created for travelers who want to truly connect with the places they visit, not just sail past them.”
As with all of Hurtigruten’s Signature onboard premium experiences, sailings feature all- inclusive dining and beverages, daily talks by the Expedition Team, and Hurtigruten’s Coastal Kitchen concept celebrating fresh regional ingredients gathered and sourced along each route.

Mar 13, 2026Revive and Relax at Finisterra Spa at Martinhal Sagres Family Beach Resort
Most visitors remember Portugal’s Algarve for its 100-plus miles of golden, sun-drenched beaches. We remember this southern coast of Portugal for the quiet, white-washed villages and dramatic cliffs of its far western corner. And for the superbly serene Finisterra Spa at Martinhal Sagres Family Beach Resort, where we first discovered what a massage and facial could do for aching shoulders and faces parched from days of hiking along the sun-washed clifftops. Neither I nor my husband, Tim, had been fans of spas before that trip, but Finisterra made us believers.
