For travelers looking to spend holidays in some of the most popular destinations, Las Vegas, Toronto, Orlando, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, New Orleans, Vancouver and Austin offer rooms from $67 a night. If you’re renting a car, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orlando, Baltimore, Charlotte, Raleigh, Dallas, San Francisco and New Orleans offer car rentals from $13 per day.

For those looking to embrace winter and the cold destinations, Salt Lake City, Boston, Bloomington and Columbus are where you want to be. These four cities have especially low prices in the fall months and offer travelers share of winter weather activities.

If you are escaping the winter and holding on to summer and warm memories, Hotwire suggests you visit Miami, Los Angeles, Honolulu and San Juan for excellent deals.

Traveling for both Thanksgiving and Christmas cannot only be difficult but also pricey. Hotwire recommends traveling for Thanksgiving, as it is more affordable than the week of Christmas. The week before Christmas, however, is even cheaper so perhaps try adjusting travel dates and extending holiday celebrations.
