Hilton Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of its first hotel in the picturesque Lake Como area of Northern Italy’s Lombardy region — an upscale resort destination known for its dramatic scenery at the foothills of the Alps.
Rob Palleschi, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, said, “Como is a well-established leisure resort which has become synonymous with style and has captured the attention of international travelers, attracting more than 500,000 visitors last year.”
Framed by lakes, hills and mountains, Hilton Lake Como is located among some of the destination’s most romantic villas between central Como and the Swiss border. Guests can experience the views of the glacial lake from the hotel’s rooftop infinity pool, sky bar and solarium, or from their own private terrace and whirlpool in the impressive duplex suite.
Elegant hotel amenities include a spa, fitness facility, a range of dining options and a convenient location to partake in the region’s many leisure activities.
The hotel sits adjacent to the historic Neoclassical Villa Olmo, only 31 miles from Milan and within easy reach of three international airports.
