The new Miami Beach Convention Center, which recently underwent a $600 million renovation, will, in 2023, welcome a new Grand Hyatt property for convenient stays during events. The Grand Hyatt Miami Beach hotel will offer 800 guestrooms as the Convention Center District anchor hotel. The 17-story property will be within walking distance of Lincoln Road Mall, New World Symphony, The Bass Museum and The Fillmore Miami Beach.
The property is the second Grand Hyatt in Florida, following Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. Plans include landscaped pedestrian promenades, 12 floors of guestrooms facing Miami Beach, two floors of meeting space and ballrooms, a resort-style pool deck, elevated skybridge connecting to the convention center and retail space at street level. Guests will enjoy access to bike sharing stations, public transit and ride share pick-up and drop-off zones.
