January can be a dark and cold month; we wonder what the new year will bring, if it will be better. At GT, we are excited about changes we made to the magazine and the digital editions, which we anticipate will be well received and take us through the next 10 years. And what a segue that is!

Global Traveler is officially gearing up for the 10th anniversary of the launch of the magazine. Each issue of the coming year will feature the best highlights from the past 10 years — best chefs we interviewed, best golf courses I played, best destinations we visited, and many others — culminating with our February 2014 issue and a party that will rock your world. We are currently taking bids for location and venue!

So pop that cork, throw some confetti, and party like it’s 2014!
