Finnair’s exclusive Platinum Wing lounge in Helsinki opened in summer 2019 and recently celebrated its fifth anniversary. Open to Finnair and oneworld’s top-tier customers, the lounge offers travelers a place to drink, dine and unwind pre-flight. Featuring Nordic-inspired design, the lounge offers areas for working, relaxing and dining, accommodating up to 155 customers at a time.

The dedicated à la carte dining area serves local ingredients and flavors, like the Reindeer Burger made from locally sourced smoked reindeer and beef. Vegan and vegetarian options are also on offer, as is an upscale bar.

Having sown the seed for premium Nordic travel back in summer 2019, we have since launched newly designed Business Class lounges in both the Schengen and non-Schengen areas of Helsinki Airport, as we continue to invest in the ground experience for our loyal customers.”

The lounge remains one of the only lounges in the world to boast a sauna. Lined with darkened natural aspen wood, passengers can replicate the authentic Finnish sauna experience with a cooling area, organic skin care amenities and natural mood lighting.
Platinum Wing lounge is located in Helsinki’s non-Schengen zone, and open to Finnair Plus Platinum Lumo and Platinum members and oneworld Emerald cardholders.
