Greater Fort Lauderdale wants the world of leisure travelers to know the destination as one of the most diverse and inclusive destinations in the world. Visit Lauderdale unveiled its edgy and exciting new campaign titled, Everyone Under the Sun. This campaign seeks to welcome visitors of every race, national origin, religion, gender, age and disability.

“This campaign goes to the heart of what makes our community great — the people and our diverse offerings. We now have a strong campaign that truly reflects who we are and shows how special Greater Fort Lauderdale is in every bold, beautiful, and surprising way,” said Stacy Ritter, president and CEO, Visit Lauderdale. “We are graciously welcoming everyone, and I mean everyone, to come join us and experience our tropical paradise rich with culture, flavor and unique experiences. Our diversity is our strength, and we are proudly telling this story to the world.”

People from more than 170 countries, speaking 147 languages, call this destination home. The destination commits to including all, with ads starring locals with disabilities, members of the area’s LGBTQ+ community, people of a diverse age range and various ethnic identities. Many don’t know that Greater Fort Lauderdale is actually Florida’s LGBTQ+ capital, and the destination seeks to further embrace this.

Everyone Under the Sun features many surprising twists to both highlight how different Great Fort Lauderdale is from other destinations and to invite everyone under the sun to enjoy its one-of-a-kind offerings. The campaign showcases accessible beaches, outdoor adventures, immersive nature encounters, pampering, romance, in-pool meetings and more.

Everyone Under the Sun saw six full days of filming in eight different locations across Greater Fort Lauderdale. A 34-person crew, 87 talented people, one dog and hundreds of butterflies star in the ads. Ads begin running this month.

The new campaign strategically provokes various audiences with important messages through subjects and scenes that are often unexpected. In evoking reactions and responses from audiences, the campaign brings attention to Greater Fort Lauderdale not only as a destination for travel but also as a destination for inclusivity and acceptance.

Everyone Under the Sun allows travelers to explore some of the area’s best sites and experience unforgettable memories. From shopping at the largest outlet mall in the United States to conversing with fellow beer lovers on the Visit Lauderdale Ale Trail, Greater Fort Lauderdale emphasizes its love for all.

Bask in Nature’s Tranquility at The Spa at Four Seasons Tamarindo

When the two of us entered The Spa at Four Seasons Tamarindo, past the backlit boutique items and local artisan-painted wood carvings, the place wrapped us in a feeling of tranquility. Its stone walls, earth tones, woven wall hangings and furniture made of natural materials reminded us we are part of nature’s spectrum, the abundant windows showing native plants and trees outside.

Althoff Grand Hotel Schloss Bensberg Review

After a long drive from our previous destination, it was a relief to see Althoff Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg in our view. When we pulled into the hotel court, I felt like we were pulling up to a royal palace. Considering the hotel was originally built as a castle for Prince Elector Johann Wilhelm II of Duesseldorf and his wife, Maria-Luisa of the Medici family, my thought wasn’t that far off.
