Emirates will resume its Dubai (DXB)–Tokyo (NRT) service in March 2017 with increased capacity on its 489-seat Airbus A380. The return of the double-decker aircraft will increase capacity on the route by 38 per cent.
The new service will depart Dubai every day at 02:40 and will arrive at Narita Airport at 17:35. The return flight will leave the Tokyo hub at 21:20 or 22:00, arriving back in Dubai at 03:35 or 04:15 the next morning.
The three-class aircraft will feature 14 flat-bed seats in first class, 76 in business class and 299 in economy.
Other East Asian destinations served by Emirates’ A380 aircraft include Bangkok (BKK), Beijing (PEK), Guangzhou (CAN), Hong Kong (HKG), Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Seoul (ICN), Shanghai (PVG), Singapore (SIN) and Taipei (TPE).
