The great thing about high-end steakhouses with a national presence such as Ocean Prime is one can count on the food being fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented no matter the location or occasion. In response to the loyal following of Ocean Prime outposts in some of America’s most fashionable locales (Beverly Hills, Chicago, Denver Tech Center, Kansas City and Phoenix), the company headquarters approved special menu deals incorporating some of the restaurant’s most popular menu items.

The most ambitious deal on offer is arguably the Sunday Surf & Turf. Ocean Prime Beverly Hills’ version of this includes one of three popular starters (French onion soup, Caesar salad or house salad), followed by a cooked-to-order, eight-ounce fillet teamed with a choice of shrimp scampi, crab Oscar style or lobster (for an extra charge), plus a preferred side dish (including truffle mac & cheese, bacon creamed spinach, chophouse corn or another favorite).

However, good eating in a posh setting is not confined to weekends. At the Beverly Hills location, a three-course, fixed-price early dining menu offered Monday–Friday, 4–5:30 p.m, features a choice of sea scallops, lobster bisque with butter-poached lobster or teriyaki salmon with a choice of a side and a dessert. This location also has a Prime Lunch fixed-price menu available weekdays until 4 p.m. Depending on the location, a few of the solid and satisfying entrée items to choose from include such guest favorites as shellfish Cobb salad, poke bowl, teriyaki salmon, roasted chicken or. for an additional charge, an eight-ounce filet. All of the lunch specials come adorned with creative side dishes.

Thanks to popular demand, the Beverly Hills location offers an extended happy hour, 3–7 p.m., while a Saturday 4–7 p.m. happy hour was recently added. A shellfish assortment on ice and sushi are offered, along with globally inspired crowd pleasers such as pork belly bao, whitefish ceviche, Parmesan truffle fries, and short rib tacos can be mixed and matched.
