Following a successful inaugural outing, Arizona Concours d’Elegance returns to the historic Arizona Biltmore, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, on Jan. 11, 2015.

America’s celebrated architect, Frank Lloyd Wright (the consulting architect for the Arizona Biltmore), was a dedicated car enthusiast. In tribute to his influence on the landmark design of the host hotel, the 2015 Arizona Concours d’Elegance will feature The Cars of Frank Lloyd Wright. Among the vehicles will be his 1937 AC 16/80 Ace roadster. Wright drove the Ace roadster during his winter stays in the Phoenix area.

In addition to The Cars of Frank Lloyd Wright, three other classes will be specially featured at next year’s event: Pre-1965 competition Ferraris; classic American luxury brand Pierce-Arrow; and the cars of Carrozzeria Ghia, the Italian design house that celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2015.

The 2nd annual Arizona Concours d’Elegance benefits Make-A-Wish Arizona, the founding chapter of the national organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Concours d’Elegance tickets are $75. Tickets may be purchased at the event or in advance. The Arizona Biltmore offers special room rates to coincide with event.

Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh Review

Phnom Penh as we imagined it stretches beneath us: a picturesque, low-rise mix of Southeast Asian and French Colonial styles. When the inhabitants of those buildings look back at us here in the Fairfield by Marriott hotel in Chip Mong Tower, they see the future.

Amansara Review

It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
