In an effort to highlight women working in the industry, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is hosting a fun celebration of the leading ladies in cuisine. The AAA Five Diamond resort, located in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, offers an idyllic locale to celebrate four female, Mexican chefs to showcase their culinary prowess during the first event of its kind: the Women & Traditional Cuisine showcase, Jan. 31–Feb. 1.
All competing chefs, including Adria Marina, Maffer Klyota, Zahie Téllez and Xrysw Ruelas Díaz, worked at critically acclaimed restaurants in the United States and Mexico.
Guests of the event can expect a multicourse dinner experience with a mix of modern and traditional flavors, along with expertly curated wine pairings.
Guests of the hotel can attend for free, while visiting foodies can purchase tickets beginning at $80 for adults and $40 for kids.
