Mar Del Cabo launched a new luxury beach fishing experience with an interactive paella workshop for guests. The Los Cabos-based hotel offers guests an immersive experience that takes them through the journey of creating paella, starting with a fishing session.
Beginning at dawn, guests can venture to the beach to fish while enjoying a spread of breakfast bites, coffee and fresh local fruit set up in a private area with umbrellas and chairs. Provided by Cabo’s top fishing outfitter, Jansen Inshore Tackle, guests will be fully equipped with the necessary tools to catch an array of fish like snook, snapper, shark and roosterfish.

Once the fish is caught, guests can begin the interactive lunch. Chef Mario Rueda Martinez, a recent finalist in Los Cabos’ fifth annual Paella Festival, works with the guests’ catches to create ceviche or paella. Martinez will prepare guests’ fish and dishes to their liking to allow guests to fully enjoy the flavors that come with their freshly caught seafood. The Catch of the Day fishing experience and lunch begins at $80 per person.
