Wine and art connoisseurs prepare early for the critically acclaimed Bordeaux Wine Festival in France. Now in its 11th year, Bordeaux’s wine festival already released next year’s program and launched ticket sales for the event June 14–17, 2018. This highly anticipated event is organized every two years and has become the largest wine tourism event in the world.
During the festival, visitors enjoy days of wine tasting, expert-led courses in wine judging and magic shows all over the city. Vineyard tours of the Bordeaux region are available by day throughout the festival and require a special pass.
Each evening, a unique light display projected over the Palais de la Bourse displays unique artistic designs leading up to the grand finale. The exhibition is followed by an impressive fireworks display over the Garrone River to close the night.
