BMW’s car share program, ReachNow, in Seattle and Portland offers free state park passes to passengers when they use the vehicles.

ReachNow has a fleet of more than 1,300 BMW and MINI cars on demand in Seattle, Portland and Brooklyn. The company’s new Wild Within Reach campaign runs in the Pacific Northwest, offering free park passes in each car.

“With more and more people in urban areas forgoing car ownership to avoid traffic and parking headaches, getting outside the city has become a greater challenge,” said Laura Gonia, head of marketing, ReachNow. “ReachNow members can find a car within walking distance and take a road trip without the need to plan ahead. We’re thrilled to take a more active role in getting people outdoors while also helping to preserve our state parks for generations to come.”

ReachNow members receive a $10 promo code when they share their park visits on Instagram, tagging @reachnow and including #WildWithinReach.

BMW donates $30 to the Washington or Oregon State Parks Foundations for every trip to a national or state park made this year, up to a total of $25,000.
