A New York-based wine and travel writer, Fried’s last book, Burgundy: The Wines, The People, won three writing awards. Her articles have also appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers including American Way (American Airlines), National Geographic Traveler, Elle, Private Clubs, The New York Times, Dallas Morning News and others. She has traveled through most of the world’s wine regions.
