Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort and Anantara Veli Maldives Resort offer guests new wellness programming. The properties introduced nutritional therapy, wellness cuisine workshops, health and nutrition seminars and an on-site nutritionist. These new offerings, combined with the resorts’ spa facilities, give guests an immersive wellness experience.
Naturopath and nutritional therapist Kelly Manning brings a wealth of knowledge on nutrition to guests. Manning offers individual, 90-minute nutrition and lifestyle consultations. During the sessions, she works closely with guests to assess their body composition and any health issues they may have. Based on her findings, she recommends a tailored diet and lifestyle plan with practical steps guests can continue at home.
Manning worked with the on-site chefs on menu development, bringing guests new breakfast and beverage menus with healthier options. The team is currently developing lunch, dinner and snack offerings, which will be available soon.
In addition, Manning hosts several nutritional seminars. “Simple Tips for Eating Healthily” focuses on quick and easy options to make for a balanced diet. “Nutrition; Sleep Health and Creating Evening Rules” examines the importance of nutrition and sleep on an individual’s overall wellbeing. “Peak Performance Nutrition” offers strategies for using diet to naturally increase immunity and energy levels. These seminars include cooking demonstrations and tasting. They are offered as a group seminar, and can also be booked as a private session.
Family-friendly Anantara Dhigu and adults-only Anantara Veli are located on separate islands in the South Malé Atoll, minutes apart via boat. In addition to the new nutrition programming, both properties offer updated spa menus and a variety of complimentary fitness experiences.

Apr 17, 2024Amansara Review
It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
