The transformed Aeroplan loyalty program from Air Canada is now live. For those with existing Aeroplan accounts, memberships automatically moved to the new program. Miles are now points, with prior balances honored on a one-to-one basis. Welcome bonuses are also available from credit card partners TD, American Express and CIBC. All current Aeroplan credit cardholders continue to earn points as normal, with new access to a range of benefits.

The refreshed Aeroplan program puts the member first. Aeroplan offers rewards to hundreds of destinations and more than 35 partner airlines. The new program offers predictable pricing, with access to every seat available on Air Canada flights with no cash surcharges and the option to pay with points and cash. An integrated booking experience is available at aircanada.com or on the app.

Aeroplan Family Sharing allows members to combine points with other family members to reach rewards faster, earn points with every Air Canada flight booked, use points for extra travel perks such as upgrades and WiFi, and expanded merchandise rewards.

Aeroplan offers five Elite Status levels: Aeroplan 25K, 35K, 50K, 75K and Super Elite. Air Canada Altitude is now Aeroplan Elite Status. The Elite Status benefits remain with new, first-in-market features like Priority Rewards, Status Pass and Everyday Status Qualification.

A new range of Aeroplan co-branded credit cards issued by TD, American Express and CIBC are the only in Canada offering extensive Air Canada travel perks, ranging from entry credit cards to core and premium credit card options. Welcome bonus offers, like earn a Buddy Pass for a buy-one-get-one ticket, are also available from TD, American Express and CIBC.
