Air Canada last month became the first North American carrier to offer planes with lie-flat suites for premium cabin customers traveling non-stop to Canada on major transcontinental routes. It’s part of the airline’s new Air Canada Signature Service, including the on-board Air Canada Signature Class.

The offering kicks off June 1, when the airline showcases lie-flat suites and other enhanced amenities to eligible customers flying wide-body planes from Newark (EWR) to Vancouver (YVR), and both daytime and overnight daily flights from Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO) to Toronto (YYZ).

Customers using Air Canada Signature Service will also receive priority service at every stage of the journey, meaning they’ll have access to airport concierge services, expedited check-in and security clearance, priority baggage handling and preferential boarding. These customers also enjoy Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge access. Eligible customers connecting to international destinations at Toronto-Pearson will also have access to the exclusive Air Canada Signature Suite, featuring à la carte restaurant dining from celebrated Canadian chef David Hawksworth’s menu.
