Whether an amateur hobbyist or a seasoned pro, you’re sure to be inspired by the Rocky Mountain wilderness setting at 4UR Ranch during the upcoming Laurie Klein Infrared Photography Workshop (Aug. 25–31). A respected photographer, educator and author, Klein leads participants on a quest to develop their own authentic visual voice, while lending insight on the creative process. Sessions will take place in the San Juan range, offering the option to work with professional models.

When you’re not shutter-bugging, enjoy horseback riding in Goose Creek Valley, world-class fly fishing on a seven-mile stretch of private tail water, and access to the heated pool or soaks in the ranch’s natural hot springs. The workshop includes accommodations in one of the ranch’s Adirondack-style lodges and all meals prepared by Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef Blake Bond. Guests may also book massages, available at an additional cost. Prices begin at $3,200 per participant, excluding taxes.
