It’s nearly time for the annual TASTE Washington wine extravaganza, celebrating the best of Washington State’s wines. From March 23–26, nearly 300 wineries, more than 70 restaurants and a gaggle of top chefs will join forces to celebrate the festival’s 20th anniversary. It all gets underway with the much-anticipated VIP Red & White Party, where the best ingredients from the Pacific Northwest will be paired with wines at The New Vintage’s Rosé Lounge.

Enjoy popular seminars held at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, led by top vintners, Master Sommeliers and wine luminaries. Tastings and interactive events include Hell and High Water: How Geologic Forces and Catastrophes Shaped Washington Wine; Breaking Barriers: What’s New and Hot in the World of Washington Wine; and Up Close with Karen MacNeil: What Makes Great Washington Wine Great? Featured festival events include a two-day Grand Tasting with celebrity chefs creating their top dishes on the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Chef’s Stage, and guided excursions to Pike Place Market led by Savor Seattle’s professional guides. Take an On the Farm tour at various locations throughout the Seattle region that include shellfish farms in Puget Sound, fruit orchards and cheese shops in the foothills of Mount Rainier. Each tour teams a chef with a local farmer and a Washington wine producer for plenty of expert insight.
