Arrival/Check-in: Situated along Singapore’s Marina Bay, the Fullerton Bay Hotel is a new addition to The Fullerton Heritage precinct, a project dedicated to offering waterfront hospitality and dining. Also in this area is the historic Fullerton Hotel Singapore. The check-in desk is a short walk from the entrance. Upon entering, I was immediately taken by the artwork. A long room, full of interesting objects, extends from the doors. I strolled right, past The Landing Point waterfront lounge to check in. After a few minutes, I was headed to my room. (28/30)
Guest Quarters: The hotel is small, with only 100 guestrooms. After exiting the elevators, guests can head right or left down U-shaped hallways enclosed in glass and overlooking the water. My room was on the same floor as meetings rooms, which I had to pass on my way, and as added protection my room key was required to enter the hall with the guestrooms. The hotel’s newness is evident in the look and feel of the beautifully appointed rooms. To my right was a closet and to the left was the bathroom, with a separate tub and shower and Molton Brown amenities. The minibar and Nespresso machine were to the left as I entered the bedroom area; to the right were the TV and dresser. The bed was in the middle on the left. Lining the facing wall were floor-to-ceiling windows which opened to a balcony overlooking the bay. The desk was against the windows, and I was surprised that the area backed up to the windows instead of facing the view. I was pleased, however, to find the desk fully stocked with a stapler, tape, power outlets, pens and anything else a business traveler would need. On the left against the windows was a small sitting area. (28/30)
Services/Amenities: Named Clifford for the hotel’s historic location (Clifford Pier), the main restaurant serves a breakfast buffet every morning. I also enjoyed dinner in a private salon here one evening, which was quite good. Lantern, the rooftop bar, is definitely worth a visit. Aside from enjoying the stunning view and the pool, guests can nibble on snacks and grilled meats while sampling the property’s signature cocktails. The hotel has three meeting rooms — Silver, Silk and Saffron — and a 24-hour fitness center located on the roof. (38/40)
The Experience: The location is convenient and within walking distance of several notable landmarks, including the Singapore Flyer, the Asian Civilisations Museum and Clarke Quay. I stayed in three hotels during my time in Singapore and this was, by far, my favorite.

May 23, 2025Relax, Rejuvenate and Heal at StolenTime
At the namesake luxury, 5-star all-inclusive resort in Saint Lucia, the concept of “stolen time” used to be reserved for couples escaping to canoodle, reconnect and perhaps rekindle in sumptuous accommodations during a romantic getaway on the lush Caribbean island. But when StolenTime by Rendezvous rebranded in late 2022 to welcome all adult guests and focus more on wellness, the philosophy expanded to encompass self-reflection, personal growth and enrichment. After all, time is our most precious commodity, one that’s finite and too quickly slips through our grasp; we need to find those moments that matter and make them count.
