This year marks the 50th anniversary of Inkaterra. To celebrate this milestone, Inkaterra offers a special 50th-anniversary itinerary: a seven-day/six-night journey through the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco, with additional experiences in Lima and the Amazon Rainforest. This trip will immerse travelers in the history, biodiversity and heart of Peru. The itinerary below is valid through 2026.
Days 1 and 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas
The journey begins with a private transfer to Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba in the mystical Sacred Valley, where trail walks; hikes; and a chance to prepare Chicha de Jora, a traditional Peruvian corn drink, await. On the second day, visitors discover the art of traditional weaving at Manos de la Comunidad, explore nearby Pisac market, and marvel at the circular terraces of Moray and the Maras salt mines.

Days 3 and 4: Machu Picchu
Head to the cloud forests for a stay at Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel and take a private, half-day excursion to Machu Picchu Citadel with an Inkaterra guide. Guests can also choose from such other signature activities as Orchid Trail — showcasing more than 372 orchid species on property — or a traditional tea-making workshop at La Casa del Té.
Days 5 and 6: Cusco
Complete the voyage in Cusco at Inkaterra La Casona, a 16th-century mansion focused on authenticity and luxury. Indulge in the Coffee, Art & Culture experience to sample the finest Peruvian coffee while absorbing the city’s artistic and historic heritage, including Cusco Cathedral, Sacsayhuamán, Qenko and Tambomachay.

Additional Days: Lima or Puerto Maldonado
For travelers who want to delve even further, Inkaterra offers two additional experiences: a three-day/two-night visit to the capital city of Lima, featuring visits to explore the masterpieces at Larco Museum and San Francisco Church, as well as visits to Plaza San Martin and Plaza Mayor; or a four-day/three-night stay in Puerto Maldonado at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica, where visitors can experience the natural wonders of the Madre de Dios River and Sandoval Lake, as well as walk the treetop bridges of the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway.
