Ahead of its 160^th anniversary this month, The Langham Hotels and Resorts introduced pink, all-electric Lucid Air house cars at The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue, and The Langham, Huntington, Pasadena, Los Angeles. The two properties are the first to offer the Lucid Motors pink house cars with a broader rollout in the coming months.

The Langham brand has had a long history of technological advancements, with its London hotel the first of its kind to offer air conditioning, hot and cold running water, and hydraulic elevators. Today, the brand still remains ahead of the curve with advanced cloud solutions, next-generation loyalty systems, and AI-enabled guest booking platforms and personalization tools.

As for The Langham’s signature pink color, it dates back to a 1987 renovation of The Langham London, during which restorers discovered remnants of the property’s original pink wallpaper. Inspired by the revelation, the brand adopted the hue as its signature color, including it in many details, from flowers to afternoon tea to its electric house cars.
