On April 14, Czech Republic’s Ministry of Health eased all COVID-19 travel restrictions for both foreign tourists and Czech citizens. This means travelers no longer need to fill in an arrival form or submit proof of vaccination or a previous infection when returning from abroad.
“We are very happy all the travel restrictions have been lifted which aligns perfectly with the newly relaunched direct flights on Delta between NYC and Prague planned for the summer season,” said Michaela Claudino, director, Czech Tourism USA & Canada.
It is still recommended for travelers to verify the condition of transport (including proof of infectivity, i.e. test, illness, vaccination, etc.) directly with the agreed public transport carrier (plane, bus, train, etc.). While COVID-19 cases continue to decrease in the Czech Republic, the country still prioritizes safety amongst travelers and locals and will hold safety as an essential criterion as it prepares for the summer season.
