Luxury resort chain Soneva offers guests a luxurious yacht experience in the Maldives. The Soneva in Aquayacht brings guests on a three-night excursion to the pristine Goidhoo Island.
Guests set sail from Soneva Fushi. The island is located in the Baa Atoll, about 30 miles from the property and can only be reached by boat. The untouched island is not often visited by divers and surfers, giving guests an exclusive opportunity to experience the vibrant marine life and corals.
The area surrounding Goidhoo Island boasts prime diving and snorkeling sites. There are two nearby ship wrecks, the Corbinand Naamuli, guests can explore. Divers may even find some buried treasure! The entrance of Goidhoo Corner at the island is home to a diverse array of marine life, including fish, lobsters, sharks, rays and turtles. Head to Goidhoo Pass for excellent surfing conditions with some of the best waves in the Baa Atoll.
The 75-foot yacht sleeps a maximum of four adults and two children. There are two bedrooms with in-suite showers. The master cabin features a glass-bottomed tub for prime marine life viewing. Guests can also enjoy the on-deck Jacuzzi, daybeds, dining area, bar, lounge and library. The on-board crew includes a captain, mechanic, head chef, wellness therapist and butler. A dive instructor, surf instructor, photographer and astronomer may be added upon request.
Pricing for the three-night charter starts at $9,900 and includes all food and beverages. Dive and surf instructor rates for two guests cost $750 and $600 per day, respectively.
