Fari Islands Festival returns to the Maldives for its second edition Aug. 13–15. The multidisciplinary festival celebrates music, gastronomy, art and marine conservation with programming at two resorts: Patina Maldives, Fari Islands and The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands. Award-winning actress and humanitarian Rosamund Pike headlines this year’s event.

Ahead of the festival opening, Pike will host a charity dinner for Mines Advisory Group.
“The festival will allow guests to open their minds to new people and experiences, disconnect with the digital world, and enjoy a space of insight, interest, connection, and a freedom to be,” said Pike.
The festival lineup includes programming throughout the day and well into the evening. Pike’s contributions include a talk on creative expression, guided meditation and a Maldivian cooking class. Additional programming highlights include art installations from designer Sean Wotherspoon, tastings from Michelin-starred chefs, musical performances and wellness workshops.
