Arrival/Check-In: Fresh from an evening flight from El Paso, Texas, my colleague Carly Allen and I arrived at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas after a comical Uber ride from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Happily, it’s an easy commute to the resort from the airport, and we were soon in the spacious, airy, bright lobby. Due to our later arrival time, check-in was a breeze, with no one else in line. The buzz inside the lobby’s Outlaw Taproom intrigued us, but the long day we’d just had sent us instead directly to our guestrooms.
Guest Quarters: My Villa room was in a separate building from the main lobby and hotel tower; a short walk around the pool area from the main building, my guestroom felt exclusive and private. In the common area, views of the golf course abound, but from my guestroom’s ground-level terrace, I had a view of the pool.
At 550 square feet, the room was spacious, and the lighter earth tones of the décor made the room feel even bigger. The marble bathroom, equipped with L’Occitane bath amenities, was to the right upon entering, with a closet directly across from it. A wet bar area ushered in the bedroom, where two night- stands flanked a comfortable king-sized bed, which sat across from a dresser and TV. A desk was situated so the user could face either the doors or have their back to the patio, outfitted with teak furniture. A couch and coffee table completed the set-up.
Services/Amenities: You won’t want for anything during a stay here; hotel amenities include four restaurants and bars, a pro shop, indoor and outdoor jogging tracks, sports courts, two golf courses and an authentic sand beach. And that’s just a few of the amenities! I’ve written this many times before in hotel reviews, but it remains true at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas as well: This is a property where I need more time — time to explore, time to unwind, time to appreciate, time to experience all the amenities. Hopefully, next time.
It wasn’t all work and no play for Carly and me, though. We did squeeze in some time before departure to visit the spa. We highly recommend this, as both treatments were wonderful; I enjoyed a facial, while Carly opted for a massage. Each was equally delightful.
Carly and I enjoyed breakfast each morning of our stay at Law, the resort’s signature restaurant. The menu boasted a blend of morning favorites with regional and seasonal touches.
TOP TAKEAWAYS:
◆ Every time I entered the lobby, the gorgeous floral displays caught my attention. We only stayed two nights, but at each time of day and on each return to the lobby, I caught a new and equally beautiful perspective.
◆ Don’t make the same mistake Carly and I made; allow yourself ample time to enjoy the property. We longingly looked to the beautiful pool area, with a lazy river, on our way to our guestrooms.
◆ Even though we were in town on business, I appreciated the location of Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. It was convenient to the airport and easy to commute to downtown, plus the resort feel helped us unwind after a long day of meetings.

May 30, 2025By-the-cabin Yachting Redefines the Cruise Experience
I wish this day could last forever!” my windswept 9-year-old exclaimed, his voice soaring over the Mediterranean. He gripped the helm of a Bali 4.6 sailing catamaran off the coast of Marseille, his sun- bleached hair whipping in the salty breeze. The scent of the sea mingled with the aroma of warm baguettes drifting from the Côte d’Azur shoreline. Our captain, a seasoned sailor, subtly adjusted course, letting my son feel the exhilarating pull of the wind against the sails. As the waves lapped against the hull, I realized this was no ordinary vacation — this was freedom, unfiltered.
