We’ve compiled a guide of hotels around the world worth keeping on your radar for 2026/27. Some debuted just this month, while many others prepare to open their doors later this year or in 2027.
From boutique brands to inaugural properties, these hotels are set to make a splash:
L’Adrienne Vendôme Paris, Autograph Collection
Next spring, L’Adrienne Vendôme Paris, an Autograph Collection hotel comes to Paris’s 1st arrondissement. The 156-room hotel transforms the former Renaissance Paris Vendôme Hotel into a space that feels more akin to a private Parisian residence, complete with 18th-century craftsmanship, curated art, two restaurants and a subterranean spa. Unique to the hotel is its history; the hotel sits on the former site of Hôtel de Noailles, home to Adrienne de Lafayette and her husband Marquis de Lafayette, who welcomed American political figures like Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.
Mereshi Safari Camp Serengeti, Autograph Collection
This new safari camp near Fort Ikoma Gate in the Seregenti opens this November, focusing on Tanzanian sourcing, community programs and local employment. The camp will offer 18 elevated tented suites across 55 acres of savannah, each with both indoor and outdoor living space. Inside, guests will find furnishings and designs celebrating Tanzanian materials and workmanship. The camp also supports many community initiatives, including Hope for Girls and Women, a non-profit organization providing skill development and support for vulnerable girls and women. At least five young women will live and train at the camp while gaining practical experience across the operation to work toward careers within Tanzania’s tourism industry.
Marriott’s first EDITION property in Africa debuted Oct. 27 with The Cape Town EDITION. The hotel lies at Quay 7 on the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town’s historic working harbor facing Table Mountain. Minimalist design meets maritime history at this new property, evidenced in its 142 guestrooms and suites incorporating details inspired by 19th-century travel trunks. Art throughout the hotel connects Africa’s creative landscape with its people and traditions, such as Zulu Ukhamba vessels and mouth-blown glass from Eswatini. A signature restaurant; rooftop venue; pool terrace; lobby bar; unique Punch Room, where a centuries-old drinking ritual is revived in a contemporary manner; expansive spa and gym; and meeting and event spaces also form the foundation of this new hotel.
Outset Collection by Hilton makes its European debut in Madrid with Casa Verbena Madrid. This intimate, 45-room hotel on Calle de Preciados pairs Madrid interiors with city views and elegant flair. Taking its name from the traditional Spanish verbena (a lively neighborhood celebration), the hotel puts the city on display, with many guestrooms looking out to different landmarks and façades. A plush emerald dining room brings guests together for breakfast and dinner with authentic Spanish plates.
Maxx Royal Maldives
Across five interconnected islands, you’ll soon find a magnificent resort spanning both villas and ultra-luxury villas. Maxx Royal Maldives, slated to open in 2027 as the brand’s first resort outside of Türkiye, aims to redefine the Maldivian escape with exceptional design connecting guests to the landscape and sea. The resort will also be home to a series of acclaimed dining venues, including Spago by Wolfgang Puck, Leña by Dani García and Caviar Kaspia. A dedicated marine biology center anchored around ocean education and coral restoration allows guests to further connect with the environment, while private beaches and reef access promise immersive experiences.
Coming this December, Fouquet’s Gstaad brings the brand’s signature mix of French heritage, highly personalized service and unparalleled experiences to the heart of the Swiss Alps. The ultra-private property will offer just 33 guestrooms, apartments and suites, as well as a nine-bedroom chalet. World-renowned restaurant Zuma and a dedicated space to the art of well-being in partnership with Augustinus Bader and Seed to Skin Tuscany fully treat guests to something special. In fact, the spa will not only boast an indoor swimming pool, but also a sauna, hammam, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, snow shower, and five treatment rooms.
Rainforest Expeditions’ newest ecolodge Kuaii Amazonas plans to debut in the Peruvian Amazon next spring, granting guests access to one of the world’s most biodiverse regions like never before. The hotel will be the brand’s fourth property in its portfolio and feature 22 accommodations, each with open-air design overlooking the rainforest. The lodge will also offer a lobby bar, massage center and boutique. The core of the lodge, however, is its immersive tours and guides, from excursions to Lake Tres Chimbadas to cultural trips to the Ese Eja community of Infierno to adventures across rainforest trails and up a canopy tower.
Early next year, Delano London opens, overlooking Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. The 67-key hotel brings the warmth of the Mediterranean to London through its intimate Rose Bar, The Source by Delas Spa, Delano Members Club and the Delano Beyond program. The heart of the hotel’s dining experience, Lana Lusa, further celebrates Mediterranean traditions in thoughtfully crafted dishes and drinks, while the late-night Zodiac Room serves up tasty tipples.
The ROMEO Collection launches its third hotel, ROMEO Massa Lubrense, in Punta San Lorenzo, Italy, next May. Designed by Kengo Kuma, this hotel draws inspiration from the Japanese concept of Ma, or dissolving architecture into the landscape. Spanning 63 guestrooms and suites with true indoor/outdoor living, boundaries blur, allowing guests to soak up the southern Italian destination. Three-Michelin-starred Quattro Passi will be the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant, and Sisley Paris will helm the on-site spa.

Oct 28, 2026Review: Caribe Royale Orlando
It’s truly its own universe: Caribe Royale Orlando is a sprawling property beckoning you forward with its coral pink exterior spanning many towers and buildings. The two-level lobby alone feels more like a community than a hotel lobby, with a Starbucks; access to the signature restaurant (in the midst of renovations), sports bar and gift shop; and a plethora of seating options. The bilevel layout also makes the entire space seem larger, opening up to the massive pool awaiting just behind the back doors.
