It was an all-star event at The Peninsula Beverly Hills during the 11th annual GT Tested Reader Survey awards celebration.

Master of ceremonies Michael Yo, an actor, comedian and television host known for his work on E!’s Chelsea Lately and for his appearances on EXTRA, The Insider and The Talk, brought high-energy enthusiasm to the gala, entertaining guests in the packed ballroom with behind-the-scenes anecdotes about celebrity interviews and keeping the ball rolling as esteemed members of the travel and hospitality industry collected their GT Tested awards.

The celebration also served as the kick-off for Global Traveler’s annual silent auction to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Yo, who spoke passionately about his mother’s experience as a two-time cancer survivor, encouraged attendees and award winners to support the initiative with donations for the auction.

Global Traveler’s GT Tested Reader Survey Awards are among the most prestigious in the luxury business travel industry. Winners are named based on the results of an open-ended reader survey. This year, China Airlines and Incheon Airport sponsored the fete.
