The North American Sand Soccer Championship games are back for the 24th year in Virginia Beach, June 9–11. This challenging competition is affiliated with Barcelona’s Beach Soccer Worldwide and hosts incredible athletes of all ages.
More than 11,000 amateur athletes and semi-professional soccer players flock to Virginia Beach for intense World Cup-style play. Athletes compete five versus five in 80 brackets of competition, on more than a mile and a half of beach. Each seed ranges in skill level and age, competing for various cash prizes.
Athletes and fans enjoy boardwalk festivities throughout the tournament with live music, beach parties and food. There will also be 25 city blocks of oceanfront resorts participating in the event, offering live entertainment and beachside beverages.
