The Global Traveler staff just returned from Los Angeles after celebrating the winners of its 11th annual GT Tested Reader Survey awards at The Peninsula Beverly Hills. Winners from around the globe visited the luxury hotel Monday night to accept their prestigious awards on behalf of their companies in the hotel’s beautiful Verandah room. Guests enjoyed delicious hotel specialties and treats as well as great speeches from Fran Gallagher, GT’s publisher and CEO, and guest of honor Michael Yo, a Hollywood expert and stand-up comedian seen on CBS’s The Insider and The Talk. 
Yo urged attendees to donate prizes such as business-class tickets and hotel stays to Global Traveler’s charity auction, benefitting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, kicking off March 1, 2015. In addition to the GT Tested Reader Survey Award and Wines on the Wing winners, the 2014 Airline and Hotel of the Year winners were also celebrated.
