Hotel Pennsylvania

Daily

Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City claims the title World’s Most Popular Hotel. In its 100th anniversary year, it offers a range of new amenities and experiences to celebrate.

As “one of the most important hotels of the 20th century,” the hotel recently added upgrades like self check-in and check-out kiosks, smart televisions and in-room Bluetooth speakers. Guestroom refurbishments were recently completed as well.

A new historic experience, The 1919 Pantry, is located on the 12th floor, outfitted with historical amenities, services and images.

In honor of the hotel’s 100th anniversary, the first 100 guests to make a reservation on the new hotel website receive the original opening day room rate from a century ago: $2.50 per night.

“We are honored to mark our 100th anniversary, a feat not many hotels can claim. All of our modernized comforts and features were created with one person in mind — our guests — who have supported us over the years,” said Eugene Nicotra, vice president and general manager, Hotel Pennsylvania. “We look forward to showing our new Penn Plaza Collection to the world and invite everyone to stay with us at the ‘new’ New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania and our perfect location in the heart of New York City. We have more news coming, so stay tuned — here’s to the next 100 years!”

Amansara Review

It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.

Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection Review

I am looking out at Vietnam’s largest city from the country’s tallest building. Sitting in a comfortable chair facing the floor-to-ceiling window, I have taken in the view in daylight and darkness at dusk and dawn. It’s ever-changing and always hypnotic.
