AmaWaterways unveiled the first details of AmaRudi, its second double-width river ship slated to debut on the Danube River in spring 2027. AmaRudi will stand alongside its sister ship, AmaMagna, as the largest river cruise ship in Europe.
The vessel will accommodate 196 guests across 98 staterooms and suites, featuring multiple dining venues, expansive wellness amenities and thoughtfully designed public spaces. AmaRudi is also the first vessel in the company’s history to be named after a man, honoring co-founder Rudi Schreiner.
Dining will sit at the heart of the AmaRudi experience, with venues including Journey’s Restaurant, The Chef’s Table specialty restaurant, alfresco dining experiences and Rudi’s Wine Bar. There will also be an expansive wellness area with dedicated Wellness Hosts and a new entertainment concept created exclusively for the ship.
