Swan Hellenic just announced the launch of the world’s first Asia-Pacific cultural expedition cruises. These five extraordinary explorations across the region open a new chapter in the pioneering company’s history.

These new voyages will sail April and May 2026. Two more itineraries will also depart September 2026. SH Minerva will transport guests to the beauty of Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, the Philippines and Japan. Never visiting the same port twice, these trips can be linked to form longer voyages all the way up to the 55-day grand cruise ending in Japan on May 30, 2026. Swan Hellenic’s final two cruises depart from Manila and Hiroshima.

Wild Eden of Papua New Guinea: Solomon Islands & Papua New Guinea (April 5–18)

This 13-night trip begins in Honiara, where traces of World War II weave into the lasting legacy of Melanesian and Polynesian culture.

Secrets of Coral Triangle: Papua New Guinea & Indonesia (April 18–28)

Departing from Jayapura, this exploration ventures to Sorong and the riches of Indonesia’s vast island chain.

Last Paradise on Earth: Rajat Ampat, Indonesia & Philippines (April 28–May 9)

Crossing the biodiverse waters of Raja Amput, one of the world’s richest ecosystems, this cruise takes guests to the raw beauty of coral islets and tropical forest, before ending in Manila.

Philippines to Japan Cultural Discovery Cruise (May 9–20)

Begin with in-depth explorations of the northern Philippines before heading to Hundred Islands National Park, historic Vigan and the Batanes Islands. This trip also visits Zamani Island and Sakitsu, and Koagoshima, Japan.

Japan and Korea Cruise Cultural Shores and Northern Landscapes (May 20–30)

SH Minerva’s final cruise for the Asia-Pacific season delves into the soul of Northern Japan, including Hiroshima. The journey ends in Otaru on Hokkaido Island.

The two September 2026 cruises go from Otaru to Hiroshima and from Hiroshima to Itozaki.
