Deep Dive Dubai, home of the deepest swimming pool for diving in the world, opened in Dubai, in the Nad Al Sheba neighborhood. Guinness World Records verified the pool as the world’s deepest swimming pool for diving at a depth of 60.02 meters, or almost 197 feet, holding 14 million liters of water, equivalent to six Olympic-sized swimming pools.

Deep Dive Dubai’s pool, featuring the latest technology and top-of-the-line facilities, boasts a sunken city divers of all levels can explore, featuring an abandoned streetscape, an apartment, garage, arcade and more. Freediving, scuba diving and courses are offered to all ability levels by international diving professionals.

Other features include a dry chamber at 6 and 21 meters; 56 underwater cameras; advanced sound and mood lighting systems; NASA-developed filter technology; and UV radiation. The pool water temperature maintains 86 degrees Fahrenheit for diver comfort.

The facility is shaped like a giant oyster, and houses a dive shop, gift shop and event space, with an 80-seat restaurant opening later this year. Public bookings open this month, with guided experiences and courses offered across three categories for visitors ages 10 and up. All experiences enjoy a low guide-to-guest ratio.
