Seattle bound? Lucky you — Taste Washington 2016 kicks off March 31 at Seattle’s AQUA by El Gaucho with the third annual Red & White Party. Attendees will enjoy barrel samples, reserve wines and vintage library wines produced at 13 Washington State wineries, paired with delicious offerings direct from the kitchen of AQUA’s Executive Chef Wesley Hood. Many of the pours will be exclusive to this event.

Taste Washington includes more than 225 state wineries and 65 Pacific Northwest restaurants. Events will take place March 31–April 3 at venues throughout Seattle. AQUA by El Gaucho is located on Pier 70 and offers fabulous views of the Olympic Mountains. Tickets for the sunset party are $175 per person, and red and white finery is highly encouraged.

There’s also the New Vintage event April 1. Taking place from 7–10 p.m. at the Motif Seattle, the fun begins with a welcome rosé bar, live music styled by DJ Tina T and food nibbles from seven local restaurants. Plus, guests at the cocktail event will enjoy specialties prepared — and served — by Executive Chef Jason Stratton of Mamnoon; Chef de Cuisine Stuart Lane of Spinasse and Artusi; Chef Derek Ronspies of Le Petit Cochon; Executive Chef Steven Ariel of Trace; and Chef Shota Nakajima of Naka. Based on last year, a huge turnout is expected. Tickets are currently available.
