Mainland China’s first W Hotel, W Guangzhou, is partnering with Private Flight, a supplier of on-board food and beverages for privately owned aircraft, to offer 5-star meals for guests arriving and departing via private jet.

Since opening in June, W Guangzhou has established itself as a hub of style with venues, restaurants and signature events that fuse together innovations in fashion, design and cuisine.

“I am delighted to offer a little bit of W up in the air to our guests traveling by private jet,” said Garth Welsh, director of kitchens, W. “Our partnership with Private Flight offers our well-heeled and jet-setting guests a fantastic opportunity to enrich their experience with the creative 5-star cuisine we offer at W Guangzhou.  This special in-flight service will enhance their flight and make each trip even more enjoyable and memorable.”

The innovative partnership with Private Flight will extend the W experience into the air.  Private Flight gives its VIP private jet clients access to a global network of premium food and beverage providers. Guests contact Private Flight before their flight, online or by phone,  to order from a custom menu.

Examples of W Guangzhou-prepared menu items include diced raw salmon with avocado, seaweed and sesame dressing,  and bitter Valrhona chocolate with chilled orange blossom oolong tea and semi-dried blueberries.
