Virgin Red announced its recent partnership with Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Hotels and Virgin Voyages on the new Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard. A first of its kind to span flights, cruises and hotels, cardholders will be able to turn everyday spending into exclusive travel rewards.

Set to launch this fall, the new card has an annual fee of $99, giving cardholders access to a choice of six industry-leading exclusive Virgin perks twice a year (one can be selected when they spend $15,000 and another can be selected when they spend $30,000).

Perks currently include:

• One free hotel night at a participating Virgin Hotel
• One suite upgrade at a participating Virgin Hotel
• Flying Club reward voucher for a companion seat or cabin upgrade on Virgin Atlantic
• Up to $300 bar tab with Virgin Voyages
• Blue Extras Perk package with Virgin Voyages (includes laundry service, exclusive cocktail party and daily coffee credits)

To celebrate the launch of the card, Virgin Red is offering a boarding bonus of 40,000 Virgin Points to new cardholders who spend $3,000 in the first 90 days; 2,500 points when you add a loved one as an additional user (up to four users); and an anniversary bonus of 5,000 Virgin Points each year upon renewal of your card. Virgin Red Rewards cardholders will also earn 25 Flying Club Tier Points for each $2,500 in eligible purchases (maximum 50 Tier Points per month) and enjoy a third night free after booking two nights at a participating Virgin Hotel once a year.
