Alaska Airlines launches a new global connection between the Pacific Northwest and Japan with a Hawaiian Airlines-operated flight. The new service between Seattle (SEA) and Tokyo (NRT) begins Sept. 12.
Celebrating the route, Alaska Airlines serves a specially curated signature cocktail, Narita Banana, in the Alaska Lounge at the N Concourse in Seattle. The cocktail is made in partnership with Seattle-based Westland Whiskey and Tokyo-based Tokyo Confidential bar.
Initial flights between the two destinations will be operated via Hawaiian Airlines’ Airbus A330 aircraft, which feature business class with full-flat seating, Extra Comfort and main cabin. Guests of all classes receive an amenity kit in partnership with Hawai’i lifestyle brand Noho Home.
Looking ahead, Alaska Airlines will develop a comprehensive, long-haul experience to be deployed from Seattle in the future via the airline’s growing fleet of Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
