Updated Wellness Offerings At Grand Hyatt Hong Kong

Jul 13, 2015
Daily / Exclusive

Heading to Hong Kong is no excuse to skip your workout. At Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, wellness programs at Plateau Spa focus on fitness, relaxation and aesthetics. Trying out the brand new Life Fitness exercise equipment or range of fitness classes is made even more inviting, thanks to the new hotel service that provides complimentary customized, high-performance active wear to guests. The option, called Your Wellbeing Is Our Business, is a partnership with Kit Concierge that allows guests to reserve specialized workout apparel and footwear prior to arrival, instead of schlepping an over-stuffed suitcase.

The fitness area includes a heated outdoor pool, sauna facilities, yoga classes and complimentary personal fitness consultations, along with personalized training programs. All cardiovascular equipment is equipped with 16” or 19” LCD touch screen monitors with integrated televisions, Internet connectivity and mobile device compatibility. Post-workout, plan a spa treatment from choices that include a Crackberry Hand Massage to rejuvenate texting muscles in your hands, a Seaweed Contour Body Wrap, or an Instant Luminous Lift Facial. Private rooms and suites located within the spa can be reserved for food and beverage services.

Even at a time when the San Fernando Valley was not known for innovative 5-star dining, the Lees’ concepts gathered such a strong buzz that discerning diners cheerfully followed them “over the hill.”

Why Japan Is Best Explored by Sea with Princess

Japan is a destination that rewards repeat visits because no two regions — or seasons —  feel quite the same. One moment, you’re wandering through centuries-old geisha districts in Kanazawa. The next, you’re watching neon reflections dance across Tokyo streets long after midnight.
