United Airlines is bringing a variety of new dining and beverage experiences to travelers, including offering complimentary meals and drinks to select United Economy customers, seasonal craft beers and new entrees and snacks on flights to Latin America and the Caribbean.

“By delivering more restaurant-quality meals, prepared with the best ingredients, and more chances to enjoy complimentary drinks, like seasonal beer, we’re getting to the heart of what customers tell us they want from their travel experience,” said Jimmy Samartzis, vice president of food services and United Clubs, United Airlines.

United Economy travelers going from the United States to Bogota, Columbia, or Quito, Ecuador, will now receive complimentary breakfast offerings such as hot breakfast sandwiches and fresh fruit, as well as full lunch and dinner entrees. United customers on the same flights will also receive complimentary wine and beer paired with their entrees. Likewise, beverages will also now be complimentary for United Economy passengers traveling from the United States to Caracas or Lima, or between Singapore and Hong Kong or Tokyo Narita. Among these complimentary beverages will be various newly added craft beers.

United Business passengers will also see some changes to their menus when flying to the Caribbean and Latin America, including breakfast entrees that reflect local flavors, and fresh and seasonal lunch and dinner offerings. Flights after 10:00 p.m. to similar destinations will also be served chilled snacks, including salads, fruit and desserts.
