U.S. News announced its annual list of U.S. airlines’ best rewards program. Coming in first — an airline earning the same rank for the past four years — Alaska Airlines.
Alaska Airlines was awarded the best airline rewards program in the United States for the fifth year in a row, with U.S. News citing the reasons as the availability and variety of flight options, as well as popular routes and destinations. The ease of earning and redeeming miles with Alaska Airlines is also a strong advantage of the program over other programs. Passengers earn one point per mile and, for flights of less than 500 miles, the airline rounds up to 500.
Ranking at No. 2 is Delta Air Lines’ SkyMiles program, whose extensive network of partners and discounts on CLEAR membership contribute to its high position.
Following Delta are JetBlue TrueBlue, United’s MileagePlus program and American Airlines’ AAdvantage.
