Imagine arriving at an airport and almost immediately boarding a plane, avoiding the headaches that come with waiting in lengthy and stressful airport security lines. Thanks to a new service from Tradewind Aviation, this dream can transcend into reality for few fortunate travelers.

Tradewind employed Pilatus PC-12 jets to provide a shuttle flight service from Puerto Rico, Antigua or Nevis to the Caribbean island of St. Barths, a journey of one hour complete with complimentary Champagne, sodas and snacks. The goal of these quick shuttle services is to cut down the wasted time that goes into flying from Point A to Point B. Private gates with separate security checks mean guests do not have to wait in the airport’s TSA security lines.

The minds behind Tradewind Aviation (which began in 2001 as a shuttle service from Manhattan to surrounding suburbs) conceptualized the idea so passengers would be able to bypass the tedious check-in process and security screenings, and board the plane 15 minutes before take-off, which actually happens on schedule. Seats on board these rapid flights start at $400 and go up from there, depending on the date.
