Hotelmapper.com, a hotel reservations website that maps accommodations worldwide based on rate and location, release the results of its 2013 hotel reservation trends report. According to Hotelmapper.com, beach destinations are most popular this year, followed by hotels in Los Angeles and New York; European travel and theme park destinations have decreased over the last 12 months.
Based on the feedback, the Hotelmapper.com research seems to indicate economic change coming to the travel industry. This year, travelers are not as concerned with all-in-one-deals. However, there has been a drop in nightly hotel rates, allowing travelers to care less about finding deals.
According to Hotelmapper.com, the Top U.S. Cities for Travel in 2013 are:
