Love Tin Tin and his escapades with his best four-legged pal Snowy? The Musée de la Civilisation in Québec City is the next stop on the Tin Tin tour, when Belgian artist Georges Remi (popularly know as Hergé) becomes the focus of Hergé in Québec City. On view June 21–Oct. 22, the exhibition follows shows in Paris, Geneva and London, displaying a fascinating collection of original pencil sketches, character drawings, watercolors and other one-of-a-kind documents and works by Hergé that explore not only his comic book heroes, but also his work in advertising, plastic arts, newspapers and fashion illustration.

The artist’s fascination with architectural detail and design elements can be explored via models and installations depicting some of the enduringly popular comic strip’s locations, including Marlinspike Hall, the country house of character Captain Haddock, along with Tin Tin’s apartment home. The exhibition includes numerous pieces from the archives of the Hergé Museum in Belgium.
